本日はちょっと皆さまにお願いがございまして。。。
現在オーストリアのザルツブルグ応用科学大学・大学院に留学中のブータン人学生ジット・バハドゥール・ビスワ（Jit Bdr Biswa）さんから、
日本ブータン友好協会あてにアンケート協力依頼があったようなのですね。
という事でせっかくなので少しでも多くの方にご協力いただければ、、なんて思いましてこちらのブログでも紹介させていただこうかと。

ドイツのザルツブルク応用科学大学・大学院に留学中のジット・バハドゥール・ビスワ（Jit Bdr Biswa）さんから、会員の皆さまへのアンケート協力依頼がありました。
研究テーマは「国民総幸福量（GNH）の観点から見たブータン南部の冬季観光の発展」で、ブータンを観光で訪れたことのある外国人を対象にオンラインでアンケートを行っているとのことです。

Hope this mail finds you well.
My name is Jit Bdr Biswa from Bhutan, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Innovation and Management in Tourism at FH Salzburg – Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. For my final thesis, I am conducting research on the development of winter tourism in southern Bhutan, with a particular focus on sustainability and alignment with Bhutan’s unique philosophy of Gross National Happiness (GNH).
As part of my study, I am collecting insights from international tourists who have previously visited Bhutan. Given your esteemed organisation’s close ties with Bhutan and your members’ interest or experience in Bhutanese culture and travel, I would like to kindly request your support in the following ways:
1. Participate in the survey if you have visited Bhutan.
2. Help circulate the survey among your network, members, or anyone who has travelled to Bhutan, particularly those who may have valuable reflections on their travel experiences.

The survey is brief (approximately 5–10 minutes), anonymous, and all responses will be used solely for academic research purposes. Your assistance would be of tremendous help in ensuring the success and relevance of this study.
*Brief Description of the Thesis:*
I am conducting this survey as part of my Master’s thesis at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, focusing on the development of winter tourism in southern BhutanWhile most tourists to Bhutan visit popular destinations like Paro, Thimphu, and Punakha, the southern region of Bhutan—which includes districts like Chhukha (Phuntsholing), Dagana, Samtse, Sarpang (Gelephu), and Tsirang—remains relatively unexplored. Unlike the colder highlands in winter, southern Bhutan enjoys mild and pleasant winter weather (15 – 22°C), making it a potential year-round destination.
The region is home to lush subtropical forests, rich biodiversity, unique cultural communities, and scenic landscapes. Yet, it receives fewer visitors due to limited promotion and infrastructure. My research aims to explore how this region could be sustainably developed for winter tourism in line with Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness (GNH) philosophy, which emphasises cultural preservation, environmental conservation, and community well-being.
Through this survey, I hope to understand how past visitors to Bhutan perceive the idea of visiting its southern region, especially during winter.
Your views will be incredibly valuable and will contribute to shaping a more inclusive and sustainable tourism future for Bhutan.
